My set-up: I've got Plex running on my QNAP TS-569 Pro NAS (awesome bit of kit, if you're wondering) with a Samsung Smart TV (UE55ES8000) connected via WiFi. The QNAP is hard wired to router, and router is WiFi AC with bandwidth not an issue. The TV is separated by one wall to the router.

Hello, I seem to be having a problem with the WD Mycloud and my Samsung TV’s. I have set up the WD drive and can access it from all my devices on my network (and outside of my network). The issue is when I am playing a media file on my Samsung TV’s from the WDMC it disconnects when I am mid way through watching the video (Could be 5 minutes, could be 40 minutes). Now this has happened on It would be nice if Samsung could give an honest explanation of why the Qled doesn't support dts? I've uploaded my films onto a qnap Nas. This is connected directly to my Avr. Which is then connected to the tv. I was hoping this would solve the problem. Unfortunately it hasn't. I'll look into shield tv to see if that will resolve the problem. Jan 26, 2014 · The MediaServer uses DLNA, which is also supported by the Samsung TV. You also can buy a NAS drive from QNAP or Synology or whatever. For me, Synology NAS works great. No need to run PC, when playing videos, music or photos.
